Two shot early Monday in Valdosta

VALDOSTA, Ga. — Police are investigating a shooting incident that injured two people early Monday.
At about 2:08 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Hill Avenue in reference to a shooting, according to a Valdosta Police Department press release.

One shooting victim was found on scene and taken to South Georgia Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his lower left leg, while a second victim had traveled to a hospital in Adel, police said.
The second shooting victim sustained a gunshot wound to his right leg, according to police. Both victims are in stable condition, according to the press release.
Police said the shooting appears to be the result of a dispute that occurred at a local club earlier in the night. The department said both shooting victims are not being forthcoming regarding the incident.
Both men are from Sparks in Cook County, police said.
