Valdosta State will have one less night football game this fall. The Blazers' game with Division I-AA Florida Atlantic set for Sept. 6 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has been moved from 7 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Florida Atlantic asked to move the game so not to go up against the Florida-Miami football game which will be played that night in Miami.

VSU opens practice Aug. 6, and begins the season Aug. 30 versus Albany State at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.

VSU replaced Fort Valley State on the schedule with Florida Atlantic when FVSU chose not to continue the in-state series.
