Brooks County's Cameron Cobb goes to Nationals in Atlanta, brings home titles

All Star National football student-athlete Cameron Cobb was drafted to participate in the Gridiron Junior Liberty Bowl in Atlanta on July 4. 

Cameron began playing rec league football at five years old and over the course of the years he was named Best Lineman several times and received The Presidential Award. He currently plays offensive line, defensive line and linebacker for the Brooks County Hammers led by Ricardo Davis. Cameron was one of five boys from Georgia to be drafted. He received multiple recognitions that include Academics Achievements, MVP, a All-Star Ring and first place in the overall combine assessments that were led by retired NFL players, Sebastian Savage, Reggie Lawrence and Youth Character Development Specialist Barry Brown. 

Head coach Cousins stated, "Cameron is an overall great respectful young man. He is coachable and will adjust to any last minute plays without hesitation." Other coaches commented, "I will remember the name Cameron Cobb, this kid is going to excel."

On Monday, Cameron's parents began receiving recruitment calls for other All Star games. He had been invited to play in the Gridiron Kings Classic Series and he is being highly considered for the USA vs. Canada Bowl in 2020.
