Georgia Christian defeats Valwood, FPC, Brookwood

DASHER — Georgia Christian’s soccer team defeated Valwood 8-2 Tuesday. Andres Gill scored three goals, Austin Plyler and Omar Montesdeoca had two goals and an assist each, and Jordan Weise also scored two goals as the Generals improved to 11-1 this season.

Dustin Jeffords, normally the goalie, also scored a goal for Georgia Christian.

The rout of Valwood came one day after Georgia Christian defeated First Presbyterian Christian Academy 7-0. Plyler had two goals and and assist, Gill had two goals, Omar Montesdeoca had a goal and an assist, and Benjamin Nelson and Adam Guthrie also scored for Georgia Christian.

Last Friday, Georgia Christian defeated Brookwood 7-0. The first half was scoreless, but the Generals poured it on in the second half. Plyler had three goals, Gill had two, Weise and Montesdeoca had one goal each and Grant Colson had two assists.

Georgia Christian hosts Open Bible at 4 p.m. next Monday.
