Looking to improve your business? Need ideas banking against the struggling economy? Want to be prepared for the long haul to prosperity? Want to help ensure your business will survive?

Whether you are a business owner, a manager, or looking to start a new business, Wiregrass Georgia Technical College’s Gathering of Eagles is the place to find ideas and inspiration for your career or your company.

Scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21, the Seventh Annual Gathering of Eagles has scheduled presentations from Joel Manby, CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment, the parent company of Wild Adventures; Ricky Dollar, Wendy’s; Tom Carroll, Sunset Farms; Tim Kuck, Regal Marine; Chuck and Susan Steel, Steel’s Jewelry; Andrea Schruijer, Lowndes County Industrial Authority; Ernest P. Coulouras, Seal Shield.

These business leaders will share insights into planning, organization, jobs, career choices, personal net worth development and other topics.

They will share experiences and personal anecdotes that many in attendance may be able to apply to their lives, careers and businesses. They will likely share how they have reaped successes and staved off failures from the current market. They will likely discuss planning and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

A Gathering of Eagles is not free. I

t is $199 for the full day; or $250 for the VIP admittance which includes a Wednesday evening dinner with Manby.

That may be the first lesson of Gathering of Eagles: Some time you have to spend money to make money. If this Gathering of Eagles is as instructive as ones in the past, the event should prove to be money well spent.

The Gathering of Eagles is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21, Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. Tickets, more information: Call (229) 293-6190; or visit www.wiregrass.edu
