Valwood's Chad Gallahan named GISA all-state

Valwood's standout wide receiver and kicker Chad Gallahan has been named to the Georgia Independent School Association's Class AA all-state team.

Gallahan will be invited to the GISA all-star football game next summer.

Gallahan had a Region 3-AA high 40 catches, seven for touchdowns this season.

Gallahan was one of four Valiants to make the all-region team. He was joined by running backs Shane McDowell and Brian Reveron and linebacker Sean McDowell.

Honorable mention all-region selections included Trey Woods, Josh Thomas, Austin Glennon and Adam Delong.
