James Henry Jamison Jr.

ATLANTA -- James Henry Jamison Jr., 40, of Atlanta, died at his residence in Marietta. Born in Brooks County, Mr. Jamison was the son of Jim and Janice Jamison of Dixie. He was a marketing director for New South Marketing and a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Janice Jamison of Dixie; one sister, Jana (Terry) Maine of Bonaire; one brother, Jon-Mark Jamison of Cordele; two nieces, Leslie and Jessica Grantham of Dixie; and one nephew, Luke Grantham of Jesup. Funeral services are schedule for Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at noon in the Maxwell-Miller Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Hodum officiating. Burial will follow in the Grooverville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. -- Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home.



Evelyn Noles Nipper

SPARKS -- Evelyn Noles Nipper, 71, of Sparks, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, at her residence. Born on Sept. 3, 1930, in Cook County, Nipper lived in Cook County all her life and was a member of Sparks Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Noles, her mother, Leila Kelly Noles, and her husband, Charles L. Nipper. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Wayne Dickerson of Adel, Patricia Nipper of Adel, and Shirley and Eddie Richeson of Sparks; four grandchildren, Angela and Scotty Williams of Hahira, Thomas Dickerson of Adel, and Richie and Jill Richeson of Sparks; and two great-grandchildren, Kalee and Carly Williams. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at 4 p.m. at the Adel Church of God with the Rev. Fred Foster, the Rev. Charles Blair, and the Rev. Tracy Swanson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on South 41 tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. -- Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home, Inc.



Lila F. Longshore

Lila F. Longshore, 69, of Valdosta, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, as a result of an accident. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Graveside services will be in Strong City, Kan. -- Music Funeral Services, Inc.
