VALDOSTA — A Valdosta man is recovering from minor injuries after having bleach poured onto his eyes during a domestic dispute Monday morning.
At approximately 8:13 a.m., the Valdosta Police Department responded to South Georgia Medical Center in reference to a patient who reported someone had poured bleach on his face, according to incident reports.
The 30-year-old man told police the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. at an unknown location on Nardo Street after getting into an argument with a woman, reports stated.
“The male sustained minor injuries and was reluctant to file a police report,” said VPD Lt. Kari Williams. “The male claims that he does not want to prosecute, but since this is a family violence case, it will be investigated.”
