WEED AND SEED MEETS: The Valdosta Weed and Seed Program will host a Community Forum meeting at 6 p.m. at the New Life Missionary Baptist Church's Emanuel House, 1401 Cypress St., to discuss expansion of the current project site. Residents living in the Weed and Seed area and all sub-grantees are encouraged to attend.
SGMC HOLDING HANDS SUPPORT GROUP: South Georgia Medical Center will host Holding Hands, a local general cancer support group, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Pearlman Comprehensive Cancer Center lobby. MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY SUPPORT GROUP: Join this group if you are a caregiver of an individual with Muscular Dystrophy. The group meets at 6 p.m. every fourth Tuesday at The Methodist Home of Children and Youth, 2545 E. Park Ave. The next meeting is today. For information, call Brenda Tucker at 247-5100.
TUESDAY COMMUNITY LUNCHEONS: Bring a friend or work associate and enjoy a good meal and fellowship at the Morningside Dining Hall, 425 Connell Road (next to Mizell Floor Covering). The luncheon is from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Come and go as your schedule dictates. Tickets may be purchased for $4.00 each at the church office. The menu for this week is: roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots, salad, desserts, bread, tea and coffee. Church office number is 242-1426.
GAME OF VALDOSTA: The "Game of Valdosta" is being created for those who take pride in Valdosta. The game will feature 34 local businesses in place of the famous Marvin Gardens, Board Walk and the like. Spaces are available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents can have their name or loved one's name printed in the VIP section of the game board for only $25 per person or couple. Pre-orders will be taken through several local schools and church youth groups. Part of the proceeds of each game will benefit schools and churches involved. Games will be available by April 30. BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN HOLDS AUCTION/SOCIAL: Business and Professional Women will hold an auction/social at 6 p.m. at 5203 Cypress Drive. Interested ladies are invited to attend. For information, call 244-2205.
SGMC BEST BUDDIES SUPPORT GROUP: SGMC will host SGMC Best Buddies, a local support group for breast cancer survivors, from 6-7:30 p.m. March 25, in the Pearlman Comprehensive Cancer Center Conference Room. NEWCOMERS CLUB GENERAL MEETING LUNCHEON: Newcomers Club will conduct a general meeting luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at Ryan's Steak House. Jane Shelton of South Georgia Travel will discuss spring and summer travel. This meeting is open to newcomers in Valdosta and surrounding areas.

LOWNDES COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETS: The Lowndes County Board of Health will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the conference room of the Human Resource Center, 206 S. Patterson St. The meeting is open to the public.
