Authorities continue to investigate the death of a woman whose body was found late Sunday afternoon in her Lakeland home.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported on Tuesday that, following an autopsy at the Macon-based Crime Lab, the deceased has been identified as Robin Graham, 55.
When asked, authorities said they could not release a cause of death at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
At 4:45 p.m. Sunday, in the area of 9th Street and East Talley Avenue, Graham’s body was discovered by Lakeland Police officers after they conducted a welfare check, according to reports. Her neighbors had reportedly requested that officers conduct the welfare check because she had not been seen since last week.
Graham’s death has been ruled a homicide.
Although asked, authorities would not say if they had any suspects.
The GBI has been assisted in the investigation by the Lakeland Police Department, the Lanier County Sheriff’s Office, the Lakeland Fire Department and the Lanier County coroner.
No other details were known at press time.
