All motorcycle riders are invited to participate by donating a toy to be distributed to needy children by The Salvation Army. The first 1,000 riders will receive stickers. - St. John Catholic Church's Adult Choir will perform "Winter Rose" by Joseph M. Martin at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Refreshments will be served after the cantata.

- The Southside Boosters will sponsor the 13th annual Kwanzaa Celebration at the McMullen Library, 527 Griffin Ave., Dec. 26 through Jan. 1. Each night's activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. and will feature guest authors, poets, musicians, storytellers, art exhibits, and a journey through the middle passage.
