Valdosta State splits DH with Christian Brothers
The Valdosta State baseball team split with Christian Brothers in a Gulf South Conference doubleheader Saturday at Billy Grant Field. Christian Brothers came into the game 5-18 and 0-12 in the GSC, but finished the first game with a 7-4 victory, their first conference win of the season. It was also CBU’s first win against the Blazers.
This weekend Lowndes High School hosted the 8th Annual Viking Invitational Tennis Tournament at McKey Park and Valdosta State's tennis courts.

The Area 15 Spring Special Olympics was hosted Thursday by the Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Authority.
Blazer softball returns home this evening to Steel's Diamond at Blazer Park for a double header showdown against the Bearcats of Lander University.
