Sources: Braves trade for Justin Upton

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves have made a trade where they would acquire Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Justin Upton, according to Fox Sports, CBS Sports and

Upton is a two-time all-star who has hit 108 home runs in five full seasons. He finished fourth in NL MVP voting in 2011 when he hit 31 home runs with Arizona. He hit .280 with 17 home runs in 2012.

Upton, 25, will be reunited with his older brother, B.J., who signed a 5-year contract with the Braves this offseason.

Atlanta will send Martin Prado and Randall Delgado, to name a few, to the Diamondbacks, according to the sources.

The Braves will also acquire third baseman Chris Johnson, who hit .281 with 15 home runs in 2012.
