Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Lowndes, Brooks, Madison counties

VALDOSTA — THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A  * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR... NORTHERN MADISON COUNTY IN FLORIDA...  SOUTHEASTERN BROOKS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA... SOUTHERN LOWNDES COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF VALDOSTA...  * UNTIL 1230 PM EDT  * AT 1146 AM EDT... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS DETECTED A LINE  OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN  EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING  FROM LOVETT TO HANSON... AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.  * OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO  EMPRESS... PINETTA... NANKIN... CLYATTVILLE... I-75 AT EXIT 5... BLUE  SPRINGS... LAKE PARK... TWIN LAKES... I-75 AT EXIT 11... KINDERLOU...  DASHER... VALDOSTA REGIONAL AIRPORT AND REMERTON.  PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...
