Armed robbers burst into library, rob patrons

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are searching for suspects after two men chose an unusual target for a robbery: A public library.

Police tell CBS Atlanta (http://bit.ly/125cfzp) that two men burst into the Perry Homes Library on Bolton Road Northwest Friday afternoon and demanded the belongings of the seven people inside.

Police say both men carried weapons and ordered the victims to get down on the floor and empty their pockets.

Authorities say they took purses, cellphones and cash from the victims, who were a mix of library patrons and employees. No injuries were reported.

The suspects remained at large early Tuesday.
