GMC Valdosta holding Admissions Day

VALDOSTA — Georgia Military College Valdosta will be hosting Admissions Day on Tuesday from 8-6 p.m.

The application fee will be waived for prospective students planning to attend the Valdosta or Moody AFB campus for the Summer or Fall 1 2014 terms.

Representatives from admissions, financial aid and academic advisement will be available to answer questions.

Appointments are not needed to participate in this campus event. Prospective students should report to building B, room 2403, where admissions representatives will be available to assist applicants.

Applicants will have the opportunity to meet with financial aid representatives to discuss federal and state grant and scholarship options.

Georgia Military College is a two-year junior college, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, providing a liberal arts education, preparing students to transfer to four-year colleges and universities. GMC Valdosta offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees in 19 disciplines.

GMC offers small class sizes, free tutoring, and flexible scheduling with day, night, weekend, and online classes.

The campus is located at 4201 North Forrest Street (just north of Valdosta High School and across from Dewar Elementary).
