Cameras catch Ga. postal worker driving over lawn

LAGRANGE, Ga. — A western Georgia man says surveillance cameras were recording as a postal service worker drove onto his lawn to deliver a two pound, three ounce package.

Mark Anderson says the cameras were meant to be an eye in the sky during the day for his disabled mother, but instead recorded a bespectacled woman in a pink shirt rolling over his lawn to drop the mail off. After setting the package on the porch, the white postal service truck is seen backing over his lawn and out of sight.

Anderson told WSB-TV there’s no excuse for the worker’s laziness, and he’d like for the employee to be punished in some way but not fired.

Victoria Anderson told WGCL-TV (http://bit.ly/16PHjpy) that her family has had issues with the carrier in the past.
