Tickets for this year’s Winnersville Classic go on sale Monday.
This year’s Valdosta-Lowndes football game will be played on Friday at 8 p.m. at Valdosta’s Cleveland Field at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium. Tickets are $8 apiece.
Both Lowndes and Valdosta have policies in place for purchasing tickets.
On Monday at Valdosta, tickets may be purchased by Valdosta season ticket holders from 3-7 p.m. Each season ticket holder may purchase four additional tickets. Monday will be a school holiday, but the ticket office will be open.
On Monday at Lowndes, Viking Touchdown Club members may purchase tickets according to their membership level at the weekly Touchdown Club meeting, beginning at 6 p.m. All Touchdown Club members wishing to buy tickets must pick up their own tickets, and they may have to provide a photo identification.
On Tuesday, the parents of Valdosta High varsity football players, band members and varsity cheerleaders can buy tickets. Each parent will be limited to four additional tickets. The ticket office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Lowndes reserved seat season ticket holders may purchase one ticket for every LHS season ticket they have on Tuesday. The LHS ticket office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — or until the tickets sell out.
On Wednesday, any remaining tickets will be available to the general public at both ticket offices. Valdosta’s ticket office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., while Lowndes’ will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
