VALDOSTA — Blazer Baseball will be hosting their 4th Annual Fall Academy for high school players in South Georgia beginning on Aug. 10. This four-week camp program begins with a pro-style combine workout and includes seven instructional game dates, Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

The camp is designed for serious baseball players, grades 10-12, who are looking for collegiate-level instruction to help prepare them not only for their upcoming varsity season, but the possibility of playing at the next level.

In-game instruction from the Blazer staff, a prescribed throwing program, active stretching with arm care routine and video analysis are key features of the camp.

The fall academy features include: active stretching, including arm care, prescribed throwing programs, hitting stations, and much more.

In addition, VSU is holding a summer prospect camp on Aug. 10 as well.

The Valdosta State Baseball Summer Prospect Camp provides a great opportunity for prospective student-athletes to display their abilities to the Blazer Baseball staff, while continuing to develop and hone their skills.

The camp includes a pro-style workout along with live pitcher/batter match-ups. The fee for the camp is $50.

Summer prospect camp is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, as well as junior college sophomores.
