VALDOSTA — The 16th annual Wildcat Invitational baseball tournament, hosted by Valdosta High School, was forced to reschedule two matchups from Friday afternoon due to inclement weather.

Valdosta’s final game of the tournament against perennial power Pope from Atlanta and the tilt between Madison County (Fla.) and Howard were scheduled to take place Friday, but will instead be played today at 1:30 p.m.

Madison will take on Howard at Valdosta High School, while Pope will battle the Wildcats at Lowndes High. That game follows’ Lowndes’ game against Pope, which has been pushed up an hour to 11 a.m.

The last day of the tournament will now include five games, instead of the original three scheduled prior. Other games at VHS are Berrien-Howard at 11 a.m., pushed back an hour; and Cook will face the Cowboys immediately after the Cowboys’ game against Howard.
