VALDOSTA — Georgia Christian faced off against Westwood in basketball on Tuesday night.

In the B-Team game Georgia Christian won by a slim margin 48-45. Christian Smith and Will Copeland scored 17 points apiece in the game.

Westwood was able to come out victorious in the girls game, 40-33 behind Rachel Harrell's 15 points. Morgan Sikes scored 14 points for the Generals.

Georgia Christian got back on the winning track in the boys game, defeating Westwood 63-49.

Jake Elliot and J.P. Edore chipped in 14 points each in the win and Jeremiah Beverly had 13 points of his own.



The Valwood JV boys basketball team moved to 2-0 after they defeated Georgia Christian 43-17 Friday at The Eager Sports Center.

Rajaez Mosely led the team in scoring, while Sam Martin, Cole McLendon and Grant McLendon and Terrell Belcher all contributed solid games. Addison LeBoutillier was the Valiant's leader in rebounds.

Valwood will next play Westwood School at the Eager Sports Center.
