MELBOURNE, Fla. – Valdosta State finished tournament play at the Florida Tech Invitational with a sweep of Northwood University, 25-17,

25-16, 25-19. The win helped VSU finish 2-2 at the Florida Tech Invitational and 5-4 on the season.

Irene Hannan led the Lady Blazers in kills with 11. Ruthie King had a .500 attack percentage. Niki Patriarca passed out 25 assists, while Laura Boos had 10 digs.

Rebecka Ohman was the only Northwood player with double digit kills (10). Cody Kiraly led the team with 10 assists and Kelly Bruce dug the ball 10 times.

Valdosta State will returns home to face Eckerd College on Wednesday at The Complex.
