Georgia ties
Five players inside the top 10 of the South Georgia Classic Presented by First State Bank have ties to the state of Georgia.
Bryce Molder was a four-time first-team All-American at Georgia Tech, Scott Parel is an Augusta native and resident and attended Georgia, David Miller played on Georgia’s 1999 national championship team, Brendon Todd earned All-American honors all four years, and first team All-SEC honors three years, and was also low medalist at 2004 SEC championship as a freshman, and Blake Adams is an Eatonton native who played collegiately at Georgia Southern.

Monday qualifier
As David Miller tries to win after qualifying Monday, he is attempting to become the first since Carl Reifers at the 2006 Chattanooga Classic. In Nationwide Tour history, 19 players have Monday qualified and then gone on to win the tournament.

Round three splendor
The third-round leader has gone on to win three of seven 72-hole Nationwide Tour events this year.
Last year, Matt Jones and Paul Dickinson shared the 54-hole lead, only to see John Kimbell win at 8-under.

Weather
Today’s forecast is partly to mostly cloudy, with morning isolated showers possible. Decreasing clouds should lead to a mainly sunny afternoon, with highs of 83 degrees and a low of 62. Winds will be light and variable in the morning, becoming west to west northwest 5-10 miles per hour in the afternoon, with a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
