After two rounds of action in Conover, N.C., Matt Anderson and Davis Roche rank 39th and 52nd, respectively, at the NCAA South Regional Tournament on the Rock Barn Golf & Spa Robert Trent Jones Course.
Anderson fell into a tie for 39th after a second round score of 5-over 76. The effort placed the junior at 5-over 147 so far in the three-round tournament.
Meanwhile, Roche nearly matched his opening round score with a round of 4-over 75. Overall, the Jacksonville, Fla. native has a collective score of 7-over 149 over the course of the opening two rounds.

Anderson delivered the top performance of the day for the Blazers and started strong with a birdie on the first hole Monday. Two bogeys outweighed an additional birdie at hole No. 8, which placed the junior at even par through the front nine. On the back nine, Anderson negated a bogey at No. 11 with a birdie at No. 14 to finish the opening day with a round of even par 71. As a result, the Lakeland, Fla., native sat in a tie for 11th among the field of 108.
Roche was plagued by four bogeys during the first half of the day, but he finished strong with birdies at holes No. 12 and No. 15 to close out the day in a tie for 35th with a score of 3-over 74.
