Brooks County hosts Kindergarten workshops

QUITMAN — Brooks County Schools wants students entering into kindergarten to have a smooth transition into a school setting. 

On May 8 at 5:30 p.m. at Quitman Elementary School, parents who have incoming kindergarten students are encourage to attend the “Successful Transition To Kindergarten Workshop.” 

North Brooks Elementary will host the same work shop on May 6 at 5:30 p.m.  Both workshops will be held at their perspective schools. 

Parents will learn about the expectations and common transitioning for children entering into kindergarten.
