Brooks County High School students visited by chamber president

QUITMAN — President of the Quitman-Brooks County Chamber of Commerce and Destination Brooks Lauren Basford, spoke to the ECHOES 21ST CCLC Afterschool Drama Club at Brooks County Middle School on February 7. Lauren shared some of the exciting things that are happening in the community and gave each student a copy of the new Brooks County Living magazine. Students also watched the segment on Brooks County from Terry Bradshaw’s “Today in America” show. The students are going to perform a play about the founding of Brooks County and are planning to film a commercial about their home community.
