VALDOSTA — I was a patient on 3West for a mastectomy. My care was excellent. Did not need to ring buzzer as there was someone there all the time. My nurses Lee, Melissa, Crystal and charge nurse Amanda Strout. Also Nurse Manager Michelle Marshall.
So Lowndes County was slammed by storms over the weekend? What about Hahira last week when something came through that scared us half to death? There was plenty of damage and I thought I would be able to read all about it in the VDT ... not a word. There were trees down on houses and in yards, limbs everywhere. Just a mess.
The repairs on Eager Road were quite obviously done by a low bidder.
Concerning your bet about firearms, if the news media would report everytime a gun was used in self defense in the same fashion as criminal use, you would find yourself losing the bet. Violent crimes have actually gone down over the past couple of years. Don’t be fooled by the media reporting only the horrific incidents because they want to grab the spotlight.
The most wonderful thing has been going on in my neighborhood! An ice cream truck has been coming every week. It brings back fond memories of when I was a child listening for that music, anticipating seeing the truck. Oh and it’s not the ice cream man, but the ice cream lady and her two beautiful helpers!
Maybe people aren’t coming to the commissioners meetings is because they are held at 5 o’clock. Most people are still working at that time of day. They used to be held at 6 o’clock. Why don’t they change it back so we can attend?
Why would a parent put in Rant & Rave about a dress code? Why won’t you call the Lowndes County Board of Education office to find out about the dress code and all information. Please do things decent and in order.
