The Valdosta Daily Times

-- — What kind of a jerk would want to spoil a family’s wedding reception, simply because it got noisy? Have you ever been to a silent wedding party? This is a once-in-a-lifetime event; meant to be special. So much for good old Southern hospitality!

If you thank the President for standing his ground on Obamacare, then you must be getting your insurance free. All others will pay dearly with high premiums, high deductibles, and a lot out of pocket.

Are you crazy? Sell the Valdosta BOE and stadium to VSU? Uh, can we say, No! VSU can build their own thing. VCS has had the Williams street property since 1921 or 1922. That is history. It does not need to be sold.

Just because you are driving a big RV, does not give you the right to just change lanes or turn into traffic whenever you please. Just because I don’t give in and slam on brakes when you want to get into the right-hand lane while I’m riding in it, doesn’t give you a good reason to lay on your horn and flip me off, like I was the one trying to cut you off!

Wow, the Williams Street sidewalk is enormous. This is a perfect example of wasted tax dollars. Reduce the enormous amount of waste in the budget and remove all wants now. There is no accountability. Vote no on SPLOST!

Why don’t you thank your lucky stars that you were not one of those considered “nonessential”? Those who weren’t allowed to work would have much rather been doing so. I think it’s selfish and rude of you to not want those people to receive pay. If the shoe was on the other foot, would you feel the same way? Highly doubt it.

Employees always blame someone else or the computer for not doing their job. If you can’t or don’t want to do what you get paid for, there are plenty of others that need it. The blame game is tiring and old.

To the idiot that wants only the top 2 percent of citizens taxed, you need to move to Russia or some other eastern European country. The primary reason for America being the greatest country in the world is individual initiative. Let’s start asking that only doctors, engineers, other professions pay for the rest of us. Again, move to Europe.

Obamacare is really bringing down insurance costs. My Medicare supplement recently went from $145.52 to $157.16. An increase of 8 percent. My wife’s personal Blue Cross Blue Shield increased from $322.06 to $376.64, that’s a 17 percent increase. Let’s all keep drinking the Kool-Aid.
