-- — Fire Department and emergency rescue budgets everywhere are getting a little out of hand. If you look at the number of structures that burn down, and compare it to the Fire Department budget; it would be cheaper to just pay to rebuild those couple of houses, and insurance pays for that anyway.
From reading the rants and raves, having a child in the LHS Bridgeman is for the elite and wealthy.
NIMBY, all the people who attended the SABAL Trail meeting, I am so glad they are driving an electric car, live in a house powered by sun or wind. These people are being led by "so called environmental" experts. How many are calling DOT and complaining about the thousands of railroad cars coming through Valdosta every day loaded with propane, oil, etc. even worse? Not in my backyard, but yours.
Beware of cardiologists’ offices (and others) that don't get your surgery pre-approved from your insurance company! The patient is then stuck with the entire bill that costs thousands, even though you have insurance that would have paid for it. It's incredible this goes on, but it happened to me regarding my heart procedure.
Let me help educate you, there is a very big difference between a concealed lethal firearm and an automobile. The purpose of the automobile is to transport human beings from Point A to Point B. A concealed weapon (loaded of course) has a much different design, purpose and intent (muzzle velocity, accuracy, capacity, balance, reliability, etc). When used correctly, an automobile moves, a concealed handgun kills, maims, and wounds.
“The sky is falling”, shouted Chicken Little. Man is producing too much C02, the earth is getting hotter, polar ice melting, there will be global flooding, shouted the flat earth politicians. There are no scientific facts supporting this calamity, only computer models. CO2 has a tiny effect on the green-house effect compared to clouds and water vapor in the air called humidity. Al Gore and Obama are living examples of “political science” or politicians inventing a problem a tax will solve.
I agree Williams Street was the prettiest street in Valdosta. It will be well worth it to redo that street. It is now horrible.
I would love to congratulate Triangle Furniture on North Valdosta Road for great service I received in purchasing a sectional. I really appreciate Pat and Carly. Thanks for having great customer service.
