Raves for Wednesday, July 17, 2013

The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA — Editor’s Note: In 2013, Wednesdays will be  rave-only days. Thank you to our readers for your support.

Academy Sports has very, very good customer service.

Rave to the law enforcement of Cook and Lowndes counties. Keep those “blue light specials” on the interstate. Bring in more money from other counties/states. I’m also happy to see law enforcement on the state/county roads.

A belated thank you to Dr. Fredericks, Sara, and the crew at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville. I had back surgery there   about six weeks ago      and everyone was so friendly. The care I received was first class. I will definitely go there again if needed.

A big Rave to Bill Love who took time out of his busy schedule to help the Valdosta High School softball team improve the softball field.

Congrats to the Valdosta State Prison Annex medical staff for the outstanding dedication and a job well worth the notice!

I want to send a shout out to the employees at Chick-fil-A, Lake Park. I’m there every morning for my refill of Coke Zero and you are always so friendly. To Jacquelyn and all the gang: Great job!

Loved the idea of a new skating rink, here in Valdosta. Can’t believe this town does not have one. What a great place for family time and for young people to enjoy themselves.

Thank you to the person that placed the rant about the AT&T scam. They had just called me the day prior and I was hopefully able to stop a fraud to my account. Thank you! So glad I read the paper daily.

Thank you so much All Star Garage Door Company. You did a fantastic job on my garage door and I appreciate it!

Thank you so much to Bernard Plumbing and Repair Service for doing such a good job.

As a 1974 graduate, I really appreciate the $367 million impact that VSU has on the local economy, as well as our great Moody Air Force Base!

What an awesome Vacation Bible School at Gateway Baptist Church! They even had a super adult class as well. All attendees were given opportunities to participate in numerous ways as they learned about Christ and salvation.

Rave to Dr. Retterbush and Dr. Hobby and their staff. I love them both.
