-- — I want to thank the people at Limbcare Prosthetics for seeing me for my AFO brace. It was nice not to have to wait three weeks for an appointment, and to actually be treated like a patient and not like a customer.
To the person having difficulty finding a doctor under Obamacare, I called Blue Cross Blue Shield and found that both hospitals in Valdosta and the hospitals in Lakeland and Adel accept the insurance, along with 46 doctors in this area. You can go to the Affordable Care website to find this information, or you can call your insurance provider.
Since the passing of the Guns Are Godly bill, I have observed two height-diminished (short) men carrying loaded (presumably) firearms here in Valdosta. I wonder if their limited stature makes them feel vulnerable to large hawks or owls? Surely they know that pterodactyls are extinct.
FYI the “loud mouths” against rezoning may not technically live in Lake Park, but when a little patch of land stuck in the middle of our neighborhood is in Lake Park and the proposed housing project will practically be in our front yard, we have the right to be upset!
All members of the city council should be in attendance at a public hearing. Yet, one of the members of the Lake Park City Council was not present at the second public hearing Monday where a lot of new information was shared. Seems that this council member should not be allowed to vote since he did not hear material presented.
There is no “Obama insurance.” Insurance bought through the exchange is with an established insurance company. Your claim that no doctor in town will accept it is a blatant lie.
