The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA — People traveling on Boone Dairy Road, please slow down. It’s a neighborhood, not a highway.

I see that Georgia Power just got another rate hike increase approved. The increase was necessary, they said, to pay for pollution-control equipment mandated by the government. Thank you, Mr. Obama, for making our lives a little more miserable. Didn’t think that was even possible after your “affordable” care act.

It is wrong for news to report who won any lottery without their consent. There is so much danger to do so. Evil is worse now than ever and it could cost someone their life.

Take a ride down Justin Drive in Hunters Pointe and see a fantastic display of Christmas Lights and decorations. Wow!

Every person, including Phil Robertson, has the right to express their views despite opposition. Many actions and lifestyles are considered sinful by the Bible. Christians celebrate this time of year to remember the birth of our Savior who came to forgive our sins.

Live on Touchton Road and there are no street lights. Contacted Lowndes County and Georgia Power about safety concerns and neither would even look into the situation. However, Georgia Power was more than willing to place a safety light on the premises for an additional $15 a month but warned there’s a good possibility they would bust my driveway with the heavy trucks. How hard would it be to add a couple of street lights to utility poles that already exist?

Going north on Forrest Street at the intersection with Perimeter Road ... the sensor strip has quit working and on occasion the wait is three or four minutes ... I don’t know who to report this to so I’m trying Rant and Rave. Thanks.

If you spot one of these lowlifes not putting their child in a car seat or seat belt, call the law! They don’t care about their child.
