Raves for Wednesday, December 4, 2013

The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA — Editor’s Note: In 2013, Wednesdays will be  rave-only days. Thank you to our readers for your support.

I want to send a big thanks to the man who brought us Thanksgiving dinner to the store Thursday evening.  It was so nice to think there were people who take the time to show that kind of kindness to those of us that have to work on the holidays. We want you to know it was much appreciated. God bless.

I want to give a HUGE rave to the employees of Toys-R-Us. I was shopping on Black Friday and the store was packed with customers. Each employee I had an interaction with was so polite. Each employee spoke as they walked past me and you could even hear them on the walkie talkie jumping to help each other. True customer service at its finest.

Thanks to Ashley and Don for making my experience of buying a 4-Runner at Toyota Nissan. I had a wonderful experience. Thanks!

Thank you to Austin, waiter at the new Waffle House on Bemiss. Thank you  for taking your time and being extra nice and special.

A big thank you to the lady who paid it forward at the Lake Park Vet's office. My cat didn't make it, but you made me have faith in humanity again.

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Cody from Outback Steakhouse. He waited on my husband and I this past Saturday night. At the end of our meal, he thanked my husband for serving our country. What an amazing young man, not even Veterans Day and yet still thanked my husband regardless.

Thank you to whoever donated the pink Barbie dream-house at Repeat Boutique last Tuesday. It made a mother and two little girls very happy!

I would shop at a Fresh Market every week of every month of every year.  I love it!

Thanks to Kelly and her son Aaron for helping me when my car broke down in 5 p.m. traffic on Ashley Street on Nov. 21.  I appreciate so much! Thank you!

I would like to publicly thank Leigh Anne (Dr. Thomas Hobby's nurse for many years) for all her years of going above and beyond her job! It was always a pleasure to call her or see her when you entered his office. Somehow she just always made you smile! Thank you and my

family wishes you the best in your new adventure!
