The Valdosta Daily Times
Some citizens of old Wood Valley would like to say thank you to the carriers who deliver the Times to subscribers. Thanks for early delivery. Some of us take the paper to work and share with others to read on their break. Thank you again.
Our soldiers go to war to protect our country and keep us as safe as possible. You have some nerve to comment negatively against them. You should try it but I bet you haven’t. Thank you to all our men and women who serve our country risking their lives. God bless them and keep them safe.
When the light turns green, you have an obligation to proceed on through the intersection even if you've been annoyed by someone honking their horn. To do otherwise is to impede traffic and violate the law. Whether you're blocking an intersection or blocking the left lane at or below the speed limit, we don't need vigilantes on our highways.
I am more concerned about corporate welfare than what some poor person gets. Those fat cats have the best of phones and everything else and are still getting subsidies from the government. And I think all of you would be better off if you did not worry at all about what others have that you do not.
Maybe that family just wanted to enjoy a nice day at the park without being harassed by a church group? They knock on your doors, call your houses, and hand out “tracts” at the mall. That might have been the parents only day off to spend with their family. Can’t you guys just give everyone some space to breathe?
The Brooks County Sheriff needs to work more to keep DUI drivers off the road. I know of more than one that has had recent DUI's and they just keep on driving. I hope it doesn't take someone getting killed to get these people off the roads.
I have issued comments about the bus system being implemented in Valdosta many times and never see it in rant and rave! We shut ins need a bus service now. Grow up Valdosta the good ole boys will get their way with the trash issue as well
Too many people think that luxuries are necessities. If you can't afford it, then you shouldn't get it. That goes for cell phones, new cars, and most importantly having children. Just because the system is flawed doesn't mean you should take advantage of it. Everyone answers for their decisions at some point in time!
