Raves for Wednesday, May 8, 2013

The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA — Editor’s Note: In 2013, Wednesdays will be  rave-only days. Thank you to our readers for your support.

Raves to Mrs. Kay and Mrs. Sylvia at Cook Primary! They have the best behaved class and are the best teachers in that school!

A big thank you to Taylor working at the McDonalds in Lake Park. I find him to be friendly, courteous, and helpful no matter what time of day and what is going on. He is an example of what a young man should be in  this time and day. Thanks.

To the couple who bought my family's supper at Red Lobster Friday night: You are a blessing. We were still celebrating the adoption of our son and little did we know that my purse would be stolen the next day. Your act of kindness was a bright spot in an otherwise bad weekend. Thank you again!

Thanks to the man in the SUV for rolling up & stashing the flag at Pawn USA during the storm Friday. Patriotism is still alive in Valdosta!

Praise and thanks to Austin's Steakhouse — one awesome local restaurant. Thank you  for taking reservations on VSU grad weekend! Service was excellent, food was awesome. Thanks for all the extra work. We appreciate you. Special thanks to Kacie and Kayla our great servers!

Thanks to Colyer’s Jeweley  for repairing my beautiful clocks. They did such a great job!

Would like to send 'kudos' out to the management and employees of Gamestop in the mall. Always friendly and very helpful.

A huge rave for the elementary students that performed at the Highland Christian Academy Honors Night. Also, kudos to the students that received awards. Good Job!

The Ashley House residents want to personally thank Jason Ingram in maintenance for working tirelessly to clean and secure their apartments so they could return home after the fire.
