Raves for Wednesday, August 28, 2013

The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA — Editor’s Note: In 2013, Wednesdays will be  rave-only days. Thank you to our readers for your support.

It is always a pleasure to go inside at the Wendy's location on Ashley Street. The ladies there are the kindest, most pleasant workers. They always make me feel good with their kindness to all customers. Keep up the good work ladies.

Thank you, Ms. Tammie at Winn-Dixie in Lake Park for your assistance when I shop.

Rave to my Times carrier. I live in Berrien County and with all the rain we had, I still get my paper. I live on a dirt road and I praise my carrier for that. This is the first carrier I have had that has been this great. Thank you  whoever you are.

Thank you to the American patriots on Exit 18 on Saturdays with their signs and flags. We appreciate your standing for us when we can't.

I want to give a huge thank you to the officers that stopped and helped me change my tire. The first officer had to go on a call and Officer Woods is the one who helped me and my kids. Thank you so much Officer Woods! Shame to all you grown men who didn’t stop and help a woman and her two kids!

The lady working the KFC drive-thru on St. Augustine never fails to brighten my day. She always has the friendliest personality and smile on her face. Great job!

Two thumbs up to the teachers at Westside Elementary that keep the morning drop off line moving!

If every business operated like Chick-fil-A and Publix, they would succeed.

Thank you to Erin Gaskins at Valdosta High School. She was such a blessing to my daughter who started school there this week.

A huge thank you to all involved in saving these dogs from fighting, torture and death. Dogs only want love, food and a good home. I hope the ones that did this will be put in prison for a long time where they see how fun it is to fight for their well being and life. Cold hearted people.

Thank you Valdosta Middle School for such a smooth start this year. Mrs. DeLoach is doing an excellent job as the new principal.
