-- — I will not be voting for current politicians in office that have sworn to uphold the law and then blatantly violate it. It is against the law to put signs in the right-of-way. I will not be voting for any current politicians that are currently breaking the law, especially in Lake Park. They should have their signs picked up by maintenance crews and fined.
Now that we have the Gornto Road extension finished, it is time to add some left turn signals to the traffic lights where Woodrow Wilson crosses Ashley Street. I just noticed the new traffic cams at Gornto and Oak. Do they work any better than the others in town that don't work at all?
Hey, you folks who do not want to pay more money in taxes with SPLOST you better get out and vote now. The politicians have voted already so you best vote now or it is over.
Regarding the customer kept waiting while the staff were on the phone, I have seen the reverse side of the situation — a sign in a store saying, “We realize how important your call is to you, so we wouldn’t dream of interrupting it by serving you.”
Lowndes County Board of Education needs to update their fundraising policy to limit fundraisers per calendar year. I am sick of Westside PTO’s weekly fundraising solicitations as if this is an indigent school. Asking for items that should be purchased with PTO funds has to stop!
To the people against selling the stadium to VSU, you're the reason Valdosta is still lost in the 1920s mentality. You have absolutely no common sense at all. That is not the original Wildcat stadium and you know it.
Yes, it would be great to have a Fresh Market, Earth Fare or New Leaf Market in Valdosta and wouldn’t it be nice to have a Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant also?
