Raves for Wednesday, October 23, 2013

The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA —  Editor’s Note: In 2013, Wednesdays will be  rave-only days. Thank you to our readers for your support.

I would like to give a big rave to Regina B. at Olive Garden. The last two times we have been to the restaurant, Regina was our waitress and she couldn’t have made the experience any more enjoyable. Her friendliness and impeccable customer service is above par! We look forward to coming back and seeing her again.

We had a wonderful time at the fall festival at Clyattville Elementary School. It was well organized and my kids had a lot of fun. Looking forward for next year.

I want to give a pat on the back to Taylor at Surgical Associates! She has an awesome personality, and really wants what is best for the patients there! Good medical care is hard to come by these days and I want to thank her for putting time into each and every patient. Keep up the good work, Taylor!

Special thanks to the couple who paid for our veteran’s dinner Saturday night at Texas Roadhouse. It was a special moment for our family as they were from out of town and made me proud to say that I’m from Valdosta! Thank you for your gift; we will pay it forward!

Raves for Cathy at Lowe’s appliance center. She is  so helpful in locating merchandise even in other Lowe’s stores for her customers. Thank you, Cathy!

Ms. Phyllis Childree’s LHS Off-Broadway student production of the “Marvelous Wonderettes” was delightful entertainment. Thank you so much to the students for this production.

A big thank you to Mama June’s restaurant and their staff for being such a gracious host for my husband’s 80th birthday party. The waitresses were very helpful and all of our guests had a wonderful time. Thank you.

A great big rave  to the person who found my money clip and turned it in to Tammy at the USDA Office on U.S. 84 East. It fell out of my pocket during the Kids Dig It event held Sept. 21. And  thanks to Tammy for getting it back to me. There are still some good people.

Thank you, Mr. President, for “standing your ground” against Congress.

My mother is an elderly lady and she loves to go to Winn Dixie in Lake Park to see a cashier named Alyssa. My mother said she is the sweetest and happiest young girl she has ever seen. Thank you for taking the time to care for my mother.
