--- — Has the Industrial Authority actually landed any new industry/business in the last few years? They sure are good at spending taxpayer money on new offices, new industrial parks, and trips to faraway places. Maybe if they brought in a new industry/company every now and then, Valdosta/South Georgia would be a much better place.
I was one of those excited to see Olive Garden come to Valdosta, but very disappointed at the cafeteria-style dining experience. The restaurant has none of the character of the Tallahassee restaurant and the food honestly tasted like a microwaved frozen meal. Also, when you have to explain the amount of a true “pour” of wine to a teenage server, well let’s just say it doesn’t warrant a return visit. Cheddars, however, seems to have gotten it right as their parking lot is always full.
To the thugs breaking into cars on Studstill Road, you are going to get seriously hurt.
I would like to remind everyone that the Obama administration’s argument before the Supreme Court was the government. could tax any product under the interstate commerce clause. You are paying a tax, not a fine. We the people should refuse to pay the penalty fine and force the government to send you a tax bill from the IRS.
A big rant to the parents that allow their underage children to roam the mall parking lot and act like a bunch of hoodlums. Your children are awful and that comes from awful parents.
A hiccup for the Obama care website? It didn’t work at all. Three years and 700 billion dollars later. Go ahead trust him. He’s from the government and he’s here to help.
Wish Valdosta had a veterinarian where senior citizens could afford to take their animals. Our pets are important and we love them, but we can not give them the care they need to due to high cost. Maybe a retired veterinarian could help senior citizens at a rate we can pay.
