-- — In addition to writing in to the rant and rave, I hope you actually called the school too regarding the head lice. Or went up there in person. At my son's school, they check pretty often and then send a note home, letting parents know their child was checked and whether lice was found or not.
I just watched Senator Lindsey Graham on Face the Nation saying the US should use missiles to destroy the Syria air force. When is the US going to learn that you are not going to change these largely Muslim nations with military intervention. Those that do not learn from history are destined to repeat it: the Crusades, Russia in Afghanistan, etc.
A big thumbs down to Moulton Branch Elementary for failing to provide water to the students at the field day event. Young children in the hot sun for three hours, no water, just isn't right. Yet, a golf cart drove around handing out cans of soda to the volunteers. None of the outdoor water fountains work. The snow cones, offered only after the event, were a nice effort but they needed water. Not thick sugary drinks.
I understand the appeal process drags out sentences but when a person is caught dead to rights or admits to being guilty or a party to murder why does it take this country 30 plus years to put them to death? Also when trying to get a suspect to admit guilt why do they offer them a life sentence instead of say five years versus immediate execution after found guilty in a court of law? The old west was much more efficient in carrying out sentences.
I am confused! I work and pay my own healthcare and because I have not met my deductible I have to pay $700 up front before I get my MRI? I don't have it and will have to deal with the pain! My child who has to pay for a school lunch will get a cheese sandwich and milk if he/she has to charge lunch in May instead of a regular lunch? Why are people who work and pay for health insurance and taxes getting punished?
