VALDOSTA — You won’t get high around people smoking marijuana. But if you are that concerned, leave the area! Just like cigarettes, if it is legalized, people won't be able to smoke indoors. Get over it.

Never satisfied. Had the schools and businesses not closed, people would be fussing about their lack of compassion. Which is it: careless to open or ignorant to close? Personally, I thought it was great. The forecast was calling for more ice but it didn't happen. People around here don't know how to drive on it, nor do they have the tires for it. Thanks for taking precautions!

His royal highness appeared on Fox before the Super Bowl with O’Reilly and tried to answer the same tough questions that his royal administration dodges on a daily basis. He again blames Fox News for Benghazi, the IRS targeting conservatives, Fast and Furious, and all the other "unexplainable” topics he doesn't want to share with his "subjects.” Watch Fox News and learn.

There used to be a Long John Silver's on Ashley Street, but you didn't support it, and it went out of business. We built an Olive Garden, just for you. How often do you dine there?

I do not smoke. I see smokers all year long with a lighted cigarette sticking outside of their auto windows. They allow the A/C and heater to work with their window open. Why not keep the nasty smoke inside the auto with them? They could get more nicotine inside their lungs. Two buck chuck's worth !

If you want some excellent seafood, then Bubba Jax Crab Shack is the place to go. They have some of the best shrimp in Valdosta! If you haven't been there, then you don't know what you have been missing. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.

To all those who want to bring a business back because we "need" one. If we needed it how come it went out of business in the first place? Sure, some may go out because of poor management but the vast majority go out because they are not being supported and are losing money. This shows they were not "needed.”

St. John’s Catholic Youth Choir is selling those discount cards to help pay  for their trip  to Rome, Italy to sing for the pope next year. Tickets may be purchased in the office of St. John’s Catholic Church located on Gornto Road.
