--- — People need to start keeping their “religious opinions, beliefs or whatever” to themselves. Freedom of religion needs to be banned at least in public anyway. I know people who were offended by the woman on Friday standing ... with some sign that said “Hell is for real” when there is no proof of heaven or hell! Or if freedom of religion is not going to be banned, then religion needs to be kept behind closed doors, not out in public! These changes need to be made!

I was amazed by not surprised with the FY-15 Lowndes County budget. I think these people forgot about Public Administration 101, and that is your expenditures cannot exceed your revenues. One or the other has to give, and I guess you decided that it was better to increase revenues by increasing everyone’s taxes, instead of cutting back non-essential services first; get a clue. ... To say the county is “not a business” is one of the problems with government at all levels.
