VALDOSTA — Chaining a dog 24/7 is nothing short of animal cruelty. It is time for our elected officials to pass a law against it.
Valdosta is top shrinking city in the U.S. by Bloomberg. Why? Poor excuse for doctors. House prices too high. Rent too high. Taxes going up. Poor paying jobs. And no jobs. Dirty City.
The Lowndes County Board of Commissioners published an increase in property taxes on July 7 = .05 percent, then on July 8 = 14.19 percent, and finally on July 9 =10.46 percent. Question is, how can any average citizen develop an opinion based on numbers presented that change from day to day? Just what is the correct number today?
Not only is Obama trying to starve our troops in Afghanistan with two meals a day, he has also ordered them to be issued with old ammunition left over from World War II. Heard it on Faux Newz so it must be true.
I cannot believe the stupidity of some people that want open borders and hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants to flood the U.S. America is over populated as it is and nearly bankrupt. This is not about helping others, this is about helping ourselves. We outsource too many jobs as well as let too many immigrants come over and run our businesses. If we continue to let this happen, legal citizens as well as our children will be without jobs.
I want to rave about a lady by the name of Cash and her crew at the Egg & I. When I go there after church, she always has a smile as she seats me and the service is great!
There are many reasons why Valdosta tops the shrinking cities list: The people that live there! So glad we moved!
Why is it rationalization when someone explains a point you don’t agree with? But to answer your question, trouble happens in bars like anywhere else and it’s a right to do so. To the one that says a police officer can’t ask to see your permit, not necessarily true.
