I don't know if Dasher or the County is responsible for the speed bumps on Dasher Road, but they need to put the sign warning of the bump 30 feet before. I was going the speed limit on that road at night and couldn't stop before hitting one. If my car is damaged, I'll be send the bill to the responsible place. It was the first time being on that road.
To GA Medicaid, expecting the elderly to submit renewals, changes online for Medicaid/Food stamps or calling the new customer service line in which you spend 45 minutes to 2 hours on hold (if you’re not disconnected) is ridiculous! Our elderly deserve better than this!
Restaurant inspections are still on South Health District's website (which was recently updated!) under "Restaurant Inspections" on the front page. If you can't find it call their public information officer and I'm sure she'll be happy to help.
The Brooks County Sheriff Office website has been down for six months or more. Why isn't Brooks county following the law in OCGA 42-1-12(i)(3)(E) which says they must maintain and make available a sex offender registry on their website? Who do I contact at the state level to force the Brooks County Sheriff to follow the law?
Don’t get your "Pet Dander" upset. I am a retired senior citizen, worked all my life and never had one penny of public assistance. All I have left is two pets, 10 and 14 years old. Pets often keep you living when you have no one else. I was just wishing for help, and I will be praying for you. God bless.
Why is some ranter trying to mix the SPLOST and ESPLOST in with the Shop Local program? SPLOST and ESPLOST raise money so city leaders can take trips to seminars and conventions in other places. Shop Local is just shop local.
Obama's uncle comes here on a student visa over thirty years ago, overstays his visa, is ordered out of the country twice by immigration judges, ignores those orders and is now allowed to stay in the U.S. due to a judge's order. What does that say about our justice system? Scoff at our laws and you can get away with it.
What’s the deal with VSU’s “holiday” card? The new VSU president and his wife are pictured with a group of African Americans in honor of 50 years of integration on campus. Integration means bringing races together, so where are the other ethnic groups? And what does this have to do with Christmas? Oh, that’s right, the card doesn’t say Christmas either.
