VALDOSTA — So many self-righteous people! After the problem is solved that someone may be on drugs that is also on welfare, then what to do about the filthy rich people that hide their money overseas, and refuse to help with their taxes for things that we all need? And then what to do about the rest of us that do everything in our power to pay less and less taxes that we owe? I'd say not many are innocent of caring about other taxpayers. This is the age of "Every man for himself.”

Autos kill more people than guns do everyday. Maybe we should ban cars and keep our guns.

To the ranter about our murder rate compared to Switzerland. We have a population of about 313,000,000 and the Swiss have a population around 8,000,000. Do the math, the percentages in both cases are about the same. The statement that most were done by firearms may be true but you would probably be surprised how many were by other means. Would you really want the UN to be in charge?

Huge raves to the friendly staff at Starbucks! I appreciate your friendly attitudes, your service with a smile, and a super-fantastic coffee every morning.

I want to thank the wonderful staff at Primetime (Moulton Branch Elementary site). My son has a great time there, and is well taken care of. That helps me get through the work day, knowing he is in good hands. Y'all welcome him with open arms and send him off with big hugs everyday. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you all!

Thomas Jefferson said that we don't keep and bear fire arms for any other reason than to protect ourselves from tyrannical government action. That is why the liberals are trying to suppress Christians’ freedom of speech and why the government is trying to label gun ownership as a bad idea.

OK, I've heard it all now, to the blooming idiot that would like the UN to come and get our guns, I say bring it on! They will learn just how a true American can and will defend their right to bear arms. I spent over 20 years in the U.S. Army defending America and will continue to do so against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I have many gun owners tell me they would enjoy shooting an intruder, that such an event would “make their day.” A majority of them also report they would feel quite good about conducting a state sanctioned execution, but they wished it was public.
