VALDOSTA — Rant & Raves is full of people who yearn to be free ... of other people.
I feel so sorry for the atheists but the devil loves them.
The anti-religious rants just keep on coming. They remind me of Gollum when confronted with good. “It hurts, Precious, it hurts!”
I think it is time we set all the prisoners in Gitmo loose in the Middle East so we can kill them with drones. It looks like the only politically acceptable solution.
We have the largest coal-fired electric plant in the entire Western Hemisphere located in the center of Georgia. Expect our electric rates to skyrocket under Mr. Obama’s newest carbon rules.
I vote for slashing the department heads salaries. These people make over $100,000 a year to sit on their butts and suggest ways to spend money. Want to cut even more money, start looking at the way these people waste money. What makes it so bad is these same people are riding around in tax-paid fueled vehicles. A good place to start would be the parks and rec. and their equipment expenses. Did Lowndes/Valdosta really need a mobile stage that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars?
Don’t be fooled! The “prisoner” exchange is just a diversion to get the media attention off the VA scandal and Benghazi. What a threat the Taliban will be to military and civilians with five of their main men back in action! Obama has made another “executive order” that has the potential to hurt more Americans, and for the release of a deserter!
To the person who said for the ranter to keep their opinion/beliefs to himself/herself, this person needs to keep his opinion to himself and not put it in the newspaper.
The person who said there is no heaven or hell, you must not have read the Bible. Jesus talked about hell more so in the New Testament than He did in the Old Testament. You need to get real. When you do pass away, you will find out there is proof what you spoke of because there is a heaven and hell.
The person complaining about the lady’s sign in regards to hell needs to move to Iran.
Cynthia Perry-Crawford’s article in Wednesday’s paper hits the mark right on and I want to praise her.
Snakes, rats and insects are in higher grass areas and homes around it. People are just lazy to not mow. Get out from in front of the TV, computer and cell phone and you would have time.
