VALDOSTA — I think it is a shame when a doctor’s office ... will not see a patient who is in terrible pain just because that person owes them money but has been faithfully making monthly payments. Where has their medical compassion gone? Get rid of that office manager.
Attention (restaurant) manager/staff, please train the waiting staff that when someone pays for their meal to stop hovering over the customer to get the ticket tray back. Your staff gets so mad if I don’t place a tip in the tray right after I’ve paid and they snatch the tray off the table. Being pushy won’t get you a tip.
Political cartoons express a perception of reality in a way which is fresh and humorous. A recent one I liked had three people in a small rowboat fishing in a very dry lakebed. The boat was labeled “Benghazi Investigation.” One was the GOP elephant, one Fox News, the last a Tea Bagger. The elephant is saying, “It doesn’t matter if we catch anything, just make them feel something is here.”
We live in America, if some religious kook wants to promote his or her religion in public I am for it, this is freedom. Doing the same thing in other places can get you killed, or worse!
Keep religious belief behind closed doors? How about we keep all personal beliefs behind closed doors and no one is allowed to express their belief. Are you for real?
To the idiot that wants “freedom of religion banned” or kept behind closed doors. If it is kept behind closed doors, how is it a freedom? This attitude is why our country is in the shape it is in now. My advice, pray for our country!
Using fear and emotion, we were told SPLOST would prevent taxes. With SPLOST voted in and now more taxes to follow, fair to say we have more dumb, gullible voters than smart intuitive voters. Now expect to hear, “I feel your pain” ... again. Politics 101 tactic works every time. Yes, more dumb than smart voters. Or more fearful. Now we need raises to offset the tax drain from our incomes. Which drives prices up.
I want to praise the lady standing on the side walk Friday with the sign “Hell is for real.” She needs to stand there seven days a week. If people think there is no heaven or hell, how do they think we get day and night? I praise her for doing that. Her rewards will be great.
It would be nice if qualified veteran homes would be exempt from taxes. What a real tribute.
