The Valdosta Daily Times

- — To the pet owners in Lakeland: If you want your pet, you need to keep them on your property. They are going to get run over while roaming all over town.

Really, Hahira? Cancel the parade three days before the weekend? This is South Georgia. The forecast may have said 80 percent chance of rain then but now it’s a 40 percent chance, and by Saturday morning, it will be 10 percent. Come on. Got lots of disappointed kids now. Thanks.

To the person who found my credit card in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree on Norman Drive: I can only hope you receive the joy and peace-of-mind that you unselfishly gave me.

Haven’t we the people had enough of Obama lies? Govt. health care the promises? What is it going to take for us to come together and be one voice and say, No more, do the right thing or get out.

I left my coupon book in the shopping cart at Walmart on Inner Perimeter Road. If anyone found it, I would appreciate it if they would call me. My name and number is in the index.

To the person defending the EBT cards, comparing that with Social Security and Medicare benefits and things elderly people get, is comparing apples and  oranges. Most senior citizens have earned their benefits. An EBT card is not earned. Forty-seven million people on EBT cards is not a drop in the bucket.

I think it is time for Mediacom to come clean. If someone is to get sick, they can’t call for help. Mediacom should step up to the plate, either leave or fix their problem. There needs to be another cable company.

Actually, I put my pants on two legs at a time. Usually with a running start and a jump!

Best proven war strategy is to destroy your enemy’s livestock, industry, crops, transportation, etc. Worked to defeat the American Indian, Confederates, Germany, Japan. In those wars, the enemies were not given foreign aid. But insanely last week Obama started giving billions in aid to Iran again. Done to win the love of a Hitler-minded enemy that still wants us dead. We are the Insane Clown Nation.

The U.S. is fast approaching a true socialist state. A nation where its people are dependent on the government for everything and this is not what America was based on. It is not the government’s responsibility to take care of the individual but, instead, to give them the tools to take care of themselves. This means education and a strong economy with plenty of jobs.
