-- — Our leaders don't walk the innovation talk in their mission statement. Instead, they thoughtlessly tax more. In Washington, D.C., a camera more cost effectively collected $11 million in speeding tickets in two years. We could also use mobile cameras to fine litterers. Have them clean roadsides to walk their KLVB talk. No to SPLOST. Yes to innovation.
Will the new Chief of Police please encourage his force to enforce nuisance laws like loud music and barking dogs? I have a right to peace in my own home.
If you want to use acronyms in your Rant & Raves, please let us know what the letters stand for. For example, LHS FCCLA. Okay, LHS I can figure out. What do the other letters mean? Your Rant & Rave won't mean a whole heck of a lot if no one can understand what you're trying to say. Thank you.
Instead of confronting the business, people will use the Rant & Rave to get their message out. That way many others are alerted to what is going on versus the business burying the incident. It's a good forum to use if you aren't getting any satisfaction from that business.
To the person complaining about the new VHS, quit worrying what it will look like. When the BOE wants you to know, they will tell you. Until then, let them finish the Pinevale Elementary project and every other thing they have to worry about and not some drawing.
How many times is a certain letter writer to the editor going to complain about racism? Is there anything on planet Earth that you don't see racism in? While we're at it, where are all the minority candidates stepping up for public office?
Thank you to the kind man that stopped on Highway 41 and Perimeter Road today. He kindly let me use his cell phone and made sure I was OK after being in a car wreck. There are good people out there.
