Raves for Wednesday, June12, 2013

The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA — Editor’s Note: In 2013, Wednesdays will be  rave-only days. Thank you to our readers for your support.

I want to rave about the excellent service provided by S&S Electric! Nothing at our house is an easy fix and they were there on time and stayed late to make it perfect. They stopped what they were doing a week later and came back to fix our mistake.

Erica, who works out of Dr. Brian Griner’s office, went out of her way to help me with a situation I had never been in. She is kind and very professional. I wish other doctors’ offices had an Erica. Thank you.

The City of Valdosta is very fortunate to have Ms. Tina working in the business license office. She is very professional in carrying out her duties and always does it with a contagious smile each time. She always goes beyond her duty to accommodate your needs.  I am casting my vote for Tina to be the next employee of the month for the City of Valdosta.

A big thank you to United Hospice. You all are a true blessing to our family. God bless you.

Dr. Norman and Ashley B at Wilson Eye Center have been very professional and worked real hard in helping my husband find glasses that work for him.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I'm quite pleased with Advanced Disposal. I'm paying less than I paid for service with Veolia, the service is reliable and they offer a large recycling bin. I don't understand what's "socialist" about offering county residents affordable, reliable service.

I want to rave about the great customer service we recently received at Target on Sunday. I believe the cashier's name was Christian, and I apologize if I'm wrong. He had a great attitude, and made my little boy's day talking to him about an upcoming fishing trip. It's great to see young people that have the attitude and personality that just can't be taught!

I want to thank Ben and Buddy at Citgo Service Center for fixing my car. They both were so professional and got me back on the road in no time. Thanks guys!

Many thanks to the city workers who picked up my yard trash on Friday May 31 on Varnedoe and found my hedge clippers. I appreciate your good work every week and leaving my clippers for me was a special bonus.

I want to thank the nice policeman that helped with my problem Thursday on Highway 84. He took the time to talk to me after. Thank you again.
